Circular Economy, beyond sustainability – the skills needed for the transition

Marcos Minoru, my professional coach has invited me to join him at one of the oldest foruns that bring together human resources professionals to discuss the market, skills training and future trends (CEAP – Centro de Estudos Avançados de Profissionais de Recursos Humanos).

The concept itself was new to most of them but the discussion was very positive as they all agreed how practical it was as they could understand the urgency and see the benefits of the transition from the linear to the circular economy in Brazil.

DSM Human Resource Manager was present and has re-assured all of us I have mentioned them as one of the Brazilian Case Studies to demonstrate circular economy in practice.

They also highlighted the importance of their contribution to the discussion and the transformation needed in terms of training programmes and company culture adaptation – both essential day to day activities of the corporate human resource professional.

Thank you Marcos, I was honoured to be able to discuss circular economy with this selected audience and hear their views and opinions.
